B) A noun As a noun, it describes the activity of travelling and often forms part of compound nouns I love air travel . I think it is the safest way of travelling. My wife usually brings a lot of travel documents with her in case there is a problem. It can also refer to the journeys someone makes: His travels around Asia are very famous among his readers. JOURNEY 'Journey' is a noun. It refers to the distance when you go from one place to another.
